Travel Note

Getting to Djerba

For the cheapest and most direct flight options, we recommend booking a flight to either Paris or Nice, and then flying into Djerba–Zarzis International Airport (DJE) using a domestic airline.

Travel Note

Getting Around Djerba

Transport will be provided for American guests from the airport to your hotel, as well as to and from all scheduled events. We are happy to assist with coordinating additional transportation beyond these events whenever we are able. Guests may also choose to use local, metered taxis to explore the area. Your hotel or host will be happy to set them up for you, and for those staying in recommended AirBnBs, taxis can be hailed easily from your neighborhood.

Where to Stay

We've provided our recommended hotels and guesthouses in the links below. While you are more than welcome to select accommodations outside of these options, we encourage you to select a stay near the Houmt Souk neighborhood. Please view the link to explore the area on the map.

Hotel

Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Thalasso, Djerba

Houmt Souk, Djerba 4128, Tunisia

Our top recommended stay for travelers seeking familiar comforts and easy beach access.

Hotel

Flamingo Beach Hotel

A relaxed, more low-key alternative to the Radisson, but still with beach access. A short walk to Flamingo Beach restaurant, a charming beach-front cafe.

House Or Rental

El Baraka

A waterfront 3-bedroom villa complete with a pool and rooftop terrace, conveniently located with proximity to other weekend events.

House Or Rental

Gorgeous Villa in Houmt Souk

A gorgeous, traditional-style 4-bedroom home in the heart of Houmt Souk. Olive trees, a pool, and close to the beach, cafes, and shops.

House Or Rental

Dar Fattouma

A comfortable apartment stay right in the heart of Houmt Souk. Great for a solo guest or couple who want an immersive stay.

Hotel

Dar Dhiafa

A traditional guesthouse located in the walkable and artsy Djerbahood neighborhood. While this stay is a bit further afoot than other recommended accommodations, it is recommended due to its high level of design and onsite bar and restaurant. Tres chic.
