The Wedding Website of Leigh Fisher and Jonathan Phan
Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail to formal, please. Let's make it a night to remember!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the service?

Answer

You won't need any! Everything is happening right at the resort.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Fingers crossed that it doesn't but in case of rain, the venue will setup their indoor ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Names and table arrangements will be sorted based on the RSVP. Please contact one of us directly to inquire.

Question

Is the date significant?

Answer

We wanted to do a wedding in the off-season before things got too busy (Nov-April). The latest availability for spring (in hopes for warm weather) happened to be the second to last weekend in April. Leigh had hoped for the 27th... Jon was thrilled it was the 20th. Fun fact: 4.20.2024 is a palindrome! It's the same backward and forward.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We’ve please arrange babysitters to make that a reality.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible! This will help us a lot when it comes to organizing our seating chart. The hard deadline will be March 10th, don't forget to press the submit button!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

On our registry page you'll find a link to our Honey Fund, where you can contribute cash funds to whichever items or activities you'd like to help with. Gifts in person are cool too :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

I would recommend getting to the venue early, especially if you need to check in the day of (check in time is 3pm). The ceremony starts at 4:30 on the beach so maybe arrive a good amount earlier than that, like a hour or more so you can hangout with your group, take photos, and everything before we everyone gets shuffled onto their seats on the beach. It's a beach resort after all so relax and enjoy the space! If you're from out of the area then I would recommend arriving the day before, Avalon is quite far south so you never know what obstacles will present themselves!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Even with the hotel block group discount which saves some money, we understand that it is still pretty steep at $360/night but what you get is a luxury room right upstairs from the reception at a beach resort!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We'll be quite busy preparing things for the wedding with our groomsmen and bridesmaids so no official events beforehand and nothing set in stone for the day after but if you're the type to enjoy hanging out until 3am, you might find us chilling somewhere after things have settled down.
