We're getting married!

Moving to the coastal area of central Jersey from his hometown in northern Jersey to start his first big job out of college, Jon met Leigh. She grew up by the ocean in southern Jersey and worked a job central Jersey while finishing up her time in college. Right in the middle of the state, Asbury Park is where they had their first date and it's been an adventure ever since.

On our seventh anniversary of when we first met, we did our annual pilgrimage back to Asbury Park. Over the years we've gotten to know the town more and more; the history, the restaurants, the beaches, the folks who cut our hair, and paint Leigh's nails. After so many years, the proposal finally came under the lamppost on the same tiny bridge where we had our first kiss that fateful day. There was never any doubt, seven years and seventy more!
