Ceremony

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
(Updated 10/6) Please arrive well in advance as we'll do temperature checks. Masks will be available if you’ve forgotten to bring one. Promptly be seated as the processional will be ready to start at 2:45pm. Remember to bring a coat and/or dress warmer as this quick 20-30 minute ceremony will be held outdoors. (If it rains or snows the ceremony will instead be held in the reception tent with everyone seated at their designated table. Either way – both the ceremony and reception will both be held at the Girl Scouts Kzoo property!) Seats for the ceremony will be staggered and spaced apart as much as possible. You can stand in back if you feel more comfortable doing so as well!
Reception

(Updated 10/6) 3:30pm • Cocktail Hour 5pm • Dinner 6-10pm • Speeches, Dessert, & Dancing Reception is open for Halloween costumes. It is highly recommended to show up in costume or you may be denied entry. JK – But seriously. Dress up and have fun with it! There will be bathrooms for you to change inside the building. The Girl Scouts building will be managing and limiting how many people are inside the building at one time. Dinner will be from Hunan Gardens Chinese in Kalamazoo. The menu will include: • House Crispy Chicken • Beef & Broccoli • Vegetable Fried Rice • Sautéed String Beans • Crab Rangoons • Eggrolls Drinks will include water, pop, flavored seltzers (N/A and alcoholic), wine (red blend and chardonnay), a wide range of liquor, and a small bit of craft beer.
