Wedding Ceremony & Church Exit

Ricardo and I are excited to have our bilingual Catholic Wedding Mass officiated by Friar Hugh to enter into this sacramental union together and with God. During the ceremony, together we will hear and reflect on readings from the Bible and participate in the celebration of the Eucharist (Communion). We will do a church exit following the Mass and head over to the reception property.
Break
12:15 pm - 3:00 pm
Following the ceremony, the wedding party will take a short time for photos / portraits at St. Francis. Guests are welcome to come to the reception property early to relax. (Outdoor reception will be on the lawn under an event tent located at 3406 Stagecoach Rd, Durham, NC 27713)
Portraits & Lawn Games

We'll have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, iced coffee/lattes (of course!), fruit, and appetizers. Feel free to bring shoes appropriate for being on the grass. We will have kid-friendly games and full access to the house. This is a time to hang out, eat appetizers, sign the guest book, take some pictures, play corn hole and watch the kids run around. We are excited to have this time to socialize with you all before dinner. We also plan to take some portraits by family/friend party before cocktail hour and dinner. Please be at the property by 3:30 for Family portraits.

Welcome Toast & First Dance
5:00 pm
Gather around and find your seats. We'll kick off the evening with a welcome toast, our first dance, and a blessing before we eat.
Dinner Reception
5:30 pm
We will have a Mexican buffet with Mediterranean sides and dessert table. You are welcome to contribute to our dessert table if you'd like!
Toasts & Speeches
6:30 pm
Relax and continue eating while we hear a few toasts from the bridal/groomsmen party and family members.
Dancing
7:00 pm
We'll start with the Father-Daughter, Mother-Son dances and open up to dance floor for everyone to enjoy!
Cake Cutting & Wedding Piñata
8:30 pm
Join us while we cut the cake, and come get a sampler of sweets from the dessert table. The kids can take turns breaking open the wedding piñata before heading back to the dance floor.
Sparkler Sendoff
10:00 pm
Join us in a sparkler sendoff! The night isn't over, but folks wanting an earlier bedtime are free to bid goodnight, or stay for our late night party full of dancing and fun!
Late Night Dance Party

Come dance your heart out, and celebrate with us for a late night dance party. We'll do a mix of music including line dancing, popular Mexican and American hits, cumbia, salsa, merengue, bachata, and whatever songs you recommend.
