Both our ceremony and reception will take place at the Iowa Craft Beer Tent at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Cheers!

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

To accommodate various hotel preferences, we do not have a hotel block, but instead have Des Moines hotel suggestions on the Travel page of this website. We strongly encourage you to take a rideshare to and from our venue if consuming alcohol.

What is the venue?

Answer

The Iowa Craft Beer Tent is a large open-air tent over a concrete pad located at the infamous Iowa State Fairgrounds. It is a Carlson family business that both Leigh and Saylor have worked at. It is large enough that we will all be covered in the event of rain, but wind will likely be a constant presence.

Where should I park?

Answer

Guests can park in the perimeter of the Tent on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. We strongly encourage you to take a rideshare to and from our venue if consuming alcohol. If you need to leave your vehicle overnight, please do so. You can pick up your car the next day.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to accommodate all guests on the wedding evening, select guests are attending with plus ones. Only loved ones specifically named on the invitation, or those noted as "and guest," are invited to attend our special day. Thank you for your understanding!
