Flight
Alaska, American, Delta, Interjet, Southest, Sun Country and United Airlines all fly directly from the US to PVR.
Rental Car
Book a ride in a comfy Suburban from the airport to Sayulita, with a stop at the 'Mega' grocery to stock up if you're renting a condo and would like provisions. Or go local and hop the bus or grab a taxi. If you'd like to arrange ground transportation, wedding planner Andrea Villarrubia will group people based on fight arrival times and book your round-trip ride from PVR to your Sayulita lodging. Just email andrea@sayulitadreamswedding.com. Here is more info: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bmUR05icxIOkZ4d9sk0xnm9nUepF4JeIbKYWXXoXBS4/edit?usp=sharing Note: car rental NOT recommended. Sayulita is walkable or a golf cart can be rented in town if you'd prefer. Andrea is happy to arrange your golf cart rental as well via Sayulita Golf Car or Town Around. Email andrea@sayulitadreamweddings.com to inquire.
House Or Rental
If you'd like to rent a condo we suggest Los Delfines, just north of town on the beach, 10 minute walk to center of town. Independently owned units; this site manages 4 units, but you can google & find additional units on vrbo or airbnb https://www.sayulitalife.com/losdelfines If you'd like to explore other options Lori & Paul can help you find the rental of your dreams. Just email paulcrasmussen@gmail.com
Hotel
Luxury hotel just south of town, between beach welcome party & ocean overlook wedding venue (like a 3 min walk to each), with hotel rooms and villas available: https://www.amorboutiquehotel.com/ New boutique hotel with poolside bar and ample rooms, where the wedding party & Leigh & Mike's friends can be found. About a 10-15 minute walk to center of town & welcome party. https://www.elpueblitosayulita.com/en/
Travel Note
After deplaning at PVR you'll first clear immigration - have your passport ready. Bathrooms are to the left (look for blue tiled wall) before clearing if needed. Then it's on to retrieve your luggage (another bathroom en route), and to wait in the line to clear customs, where you'll be asked to push a button attached to a traffic-type light. Red: your stuff gets searched. Green: you're on your way. Next up - free margarita samples!! And a whole bunch of people trying to get you to talk to them about time shares :) Just past that, you'll be in the public area of the airport. ATMs on your right. We strongly suggest getting pesos here! Many Sayulita establishments don't take credit cards, and the fees at Sayulita ATMs are higher. Plus sometimes they're out of cash if it's a busy weekend. Then you'll see your driver with your name on a sign if you've arranged transport, or you can hop in a cab or be adventuresome & take the bus. Let the celebration begin!
