Flight
Though often requiring a connecting flight, Friedman Memorial Airport is closest to Sun Valley. This airport is only a short car ride from suggested hotels. Note that Sun Valley Resort offers courtesy transportation from the airport for guests staying at the resort. Flight
SLC is the largest and easiest airport to reach for domestic flights, and is a ~4.5 hour drive to Sun Valley. Long, perhaps, but beautiful! Salt Lake Express offers daily bus service from SLC Airport to Sun Valley Lodge. Tickets are required, and can be purchased via the link below.
Flight
Easy to reach by most airlines, Boise airport is ~3 hours from Sun Valley. While driving to Sun Valley is of course an option via rental car providers, there is a daily shuttle service between Boise Airport and the Sun Valley Lodge via Sun Valley Express. Advance tickets may be purchased by calling Sun Valley Express at (208) 576-7381, or by visiting the link below. Tickets also may be purchased on the bus at time of departure on a space available basis.
