A block of rooms has been reserved for our guests from Thursday, May 4 to Monday, May 8 at the rate of $229 per night. The hotel is a quick 8 minute walk from our Friday night welcome party and is where the shuttle will provide transportation on Saturday for the wedding. In addition, there is a late-night bar in the lobby which will likely be our gathering place after the wedding reception has ended, for anyone who isn't quite done celebrating. Given that the hotel is located in the heart of such a highly visited city, we recommend booking your room as soon as you have your travel plans. The block of rooms will be released for public booking on April 4 and no longer reserved for our guests. For any guests interested in some relaxation and pampering during their time in Philly, Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon is located within the Loews Hotel. When you make your appointment, let them know you're staying at the hotel as part of a wedding block to receive a discount.View
PHL is a 20 minute drive from the Loews Hotel. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available for transportation to and from the airport.
House Or Rental
For guests who would prefer to rent an Airbnb or VRBO for the weekend, the most proximal neighborhoods to our Welcome Party will be Center City, Graduate Hospital, or Rittenhouse Square. If you're not opposed to a longer walk or Uber to the Welcome Party, we also love the neighborhoods of Society Hill and Old City. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us for help in finding a good location for your rental! * Please be aware the shuttle services to the wedding will not be available should you choose to pursue an Airbnb or VRBO rental. We're not coordinated enough to make that happen. :)
Parking for guests of the Loews hotel will be available for $45/night during their stay. Loews parking is valet-only and includes full in and out privileges in a covered and secure garage. If you're like us and would prefer to save a few bucks, we recommend exploring Spot Hero (website or app) to find more budget friendly options throughout the city. Fair warning, some of the spots are in open lots/not secured. We've gone this route during many trips to Philly and have had nothing but excellent experiences but (per Andrew), we are not legally responsible if your converter gets stolen.
