We decided to spend our wedding day with just the two of us and had a private ceremony on the beach of Grand Lake in Point Park at 5:30PM on Saturday, September 16th. You might see some photos with family and friends as well. We spent the morning with some of the closest people in our lives to celebrate before we were sent off to the rest of our day
We have booked a 16-night cruise from LA to Valparaiso, Chile with 7 other stops on the Western Coast of Central and South America. We leave December 7th and return just after Christmas. This will be the first time we've travelled outside of the US together because most of our relationship has been during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so excited for this trip of a lifetime! Any contributions you make will go towards fun excursions, local food vendors at our various stops or souvenirs for us to take home.
We both will be changing our name to one with meaning and significance to us and the new life we are starting. Our new names will be Leif & Izzy Meliora. Meliora is the Latin word for "better things" and describes an intention to never stop growing and a commitment to always be learning about each other and the world around us.
We have a lot of what we need for our home already but have included a few items on our registry if you'd like to contribute.
