All are welcome to attend our Catholic ceremony. We love your little ones, but due to space and venue considerations, we are keeping our reception celebration to adults and kids 13 and older. Door County is very family-friendly with lots of activities for kids, so whether you treat the weekend as a family vacation or couples getaway, we encourage you to make the most of your time in DoCo. Flying into Green Bay (GRB) will significantly cut down on drive time up to Sister Bay. You may also fly into Milwaukee Mitchell Airport and either rent a car or take a shuttle service to Door County, WI. You could also fly into either Chicago airport. Keep in mind, Sister Bay is at the utmost tip of the peninsula, so shuttle services may vary in price to different parts of Door County. Our wedding ceremony will be held at Stella Maris Sister Bay and reception at Northern Haus, so we recommend staying in or around Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Sister Bay is a hustling hub for bars and restaurants, great for after-hours or staying out late. Ephraim and Fish Creek are also great places to stay with lots of restaurants and activities, about 15 minutes from the venue. Bailey's Harbor is also a suitable place to stay, but would include more windy road travel, rather than waterside. We would caution booking in Sturgeon Bay, as it's a 45 minute drive from our venue. No, Door County does not have rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. Rental cars are encouraged. We will have a shuttle from designated pick-up locations to the ceremony, from ceremony to reception, and to designated drop-offs post reception.
Due to venue size constraints, we are only able to extend a certain amount of invites. If you would like to bring a guest but were not given a plus one, please reach out to us personally, and we’ll see if we can accommodate your request.

Door County is a special place for both Hunter and Sarah. Sarah's family owns a very sentimental property in Sturgeon Bay, WI, which has brought so many amazing memories. When Hunter visited Door County for the first time, he immediately saw how special it was. We can't wait for you to experience it too!
