Joey and Mikaela were both born in 1995 3months apart. One in Huntington and one in Queens. However, three months and two cities couldn’t separate what was always joined. Their hearts. In 2009 Joey moved from Queens to Plainview and enrolled in an Earth Science class at Plainview Old Bethpage HS. It was here, destiny tapped them on the shoulder and gently guided them into their future. They became friends freshman year of High School instantly. Joey was charming and witty and Mikaela so outgoing and equally funny they found themselves chatting and laughing together. As two years passed, they remained nothing more than friends until the beginning of their Junior Year High School when Joey realized, this was more than just a friendship. He asked Mikaela out on their first date on May 19th2012. This would be the start of their deeper connection and realization that they were always meant to be together as a couple. On July 02, 2012, it became official. They were Mikaela and Joey. They were inseparable. October 20th, 2018, Joey proposed to his high school sweetheart and love of his life Mikaela at Oheka castle, in front of both of their families. All celebrated and rejoiced in what would be an amazing joining of two loving families and all that the future holds.
