One of the best museums in the city. Housed in William Scarborough's home, the collection is full of maritime and naval artifacts and art. There are also beautiful gardens connected to the home.
The best ice cream in the city. Owned by Stratton Leopold, a movie producer (the posters are hanging up in the store). They also have seasonal flavors; the month of April boasts lavender, which is Alex's favorite seasonal flavor.
Even though we are locals, we enjoy this trolley tour. The easiest and fastest way to see downtown Savannah!
One of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world, and where Alex and Bryan had their wedding ceremony (in Walz Garden).
Forsyth Park is a staple, and a beautiful place to take a walk. The famous Savannah fountain is in the middle of the park, and you should not be surprised to see people from all walks of life spending time there. Also, very close to the American Legion!
More than likely the most haunted building in Savannah. Moon River is a restaurant, brewery, and super spooky spot on Bay Street. It was featured on Ghost Adventures!
Move over Paula. Mrs. Wilkes is the best restaurant for southern cuisine. Waiting in line for an hour to get in is absolutely the norm.
The Mighty Eighth is such a fun museum. It's located in Chatham county, but literally it's on the interstate. You can see the B-47 from I-95! It's so much fun. They also have a beautiful little church on the grounds, as well as gardens and many artifacts.
