The western shores of Sebago Lake are just a few miles from the venue! Scenic place to stay (look for Airbnbs or cabin/cottage rentals), and if the weather's nice, you could visit a beach, go boating, or go fishing.
Downtown Portland (including Old Port) is a great place to find tasty food, great art, live performances, guided tours, fun shops, coastal views, and scenic streets.
Best donuts we've ever had. This is a must-do activity.
Another donut place that we tried for the first time just recently, and it rivaled (and possibly beat!?) the Holy Donut. Never thought we'd say that.
Delightful tea shop that also serves light Mediterranean meals! Highly recommended.
Lovely park along the water! There are also myriad food trucks parked along the road. HIGHLY recommend the shawarma fries from the Falafel Mafia truck, but everything is delish.
We haven't been here, but it looks delicious.
Cute restaurant for lobster rolls, lobster mac, etc.
A museum dedicated to "the study of hidden animals." What does that mean? You'll have to see for yourself. This is a weird place.
We went here the first time Kaya visited Max in Maine, so if you want the full LeGrandstadt experience, go paint some pottery!
