San Diego International Airport is located close to Downtown San Diego and only a 15 minute drive from the Venue.
Balboa Park is a historical urban cultural park close to Downtown San Diego. Here you can enjoy exploring museums, theaters, gardens, restaurants, arts, culture, San Diego Zoo and so much more! It is a great site to walk around and explore.
Old Town San Diego Historic Park commemorates the early days of the City of San Diego and includes many historic buildings from the 1800’s. Here you can find many attractions, exhibits, and tienditas (little Mexican stores) full of Mexican culture. There are many Mexican restaurants where you can enjoy some margaritas and fresh handmade tortillas and sometimes have a Mariachi playing in the background. Here you can also jump on a tour bus that takes you all over San Diego. A must see while in San Diego!
Downtown encompasses the historic Gaslamp Quarter with a lively dining and bar scene. Enjoy walking down 5th Ave and enjoy some delicious drinks and food during the day or night.
Little Italy is a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood where you can find trendy bars, brewpubs, and many restaurants with patio seating. Enjoy some delicious Italian food at some of our favorite restaurants such as Sorrento’s, Davanti Enoteca, or Barbusa. You can also enjoy some nice cocktails and apps with family and friends at our favorite bars such as Craft and Commerce (has a tiki bar/speakeasy False Idol), Noble Experiment, King & Queen Cantina or Ironside. Enjoy a nice walk to the Embarcadero or Seaport Village!
Enjoy a nice day at the beach! Mission Beach is a great place to go rent bicycles (Danny’s favorite), jet skis, paddle boards or even go for a nice walk along the boardwalk. Check out Belmont Park for some ride attractions and beach shops. Enjoy one of San Diego’s beautiful sunsets at Mission Beach or Pacific Beach. November might not be as warm so please remember to bundle up a bit, especially for our Island Family :)
