It was early 2019, when dating apps were a thing. Angie and Daniel were both living in the Bay Area about 40 miles away from each other when their profiles matched. Daniel decided to send the first message and initiate a conversation that quickly turned into daily texting. Through their messages, they shared about their days, families, pastimes, and their cultural backgrounds (not every day you meet a Crucian 🇻🇮). They talked for about three weeks when Angie finally mustered the courage to make the first move and ask Daniel out on a date. On April 19, 2019 Angie and Daniel met for the first time at a rooftop restaurant in San Francisco. They were both nervous at first, but the first date went so well that it led to many more, with their second date being just two days later. Their love began to flourish as they explored the foggy streets of San Francisco together. They created beautiful memories looking for hidden bars and restaurants, biking across the Golden Gate Bridge, and even outrunning the fog from time to time by heading up to Napa Valley. In August of 2022, they packed up their love, left the fog behind, and headed to America’s Finest City, sunny San Diego! It was here on one sunny afternoon that Daniel popped the big question! Who knew that one simple app would change their worlds forever? Since day one it has been nothing but laughter, excitement, growth, and love that continues to grow every day. Five years and seven months after their first date, they are due to get married and are excited to share that special day with all of you!
