Bride
Alexis is the Bride! She is from Holt, where she graduated in 2017. Alexis received her bachelors degree from Michigan State University in Elementary Education, as well as her masters in Teaching and Curriculum from MSU. Alexis swam on Michigan State's college club swim team for 5 years and has continued to swim competitively through masters swimming. Alexis is an elementary school teacher in Grandville, helping children learn new skills everyday. In her free time, Alexis enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with Patrick.
Groom
Patrick is the Groom! He is from Hamilton where he graduated in 2017. Patrick received his bachelors degree from Olivet College in Criminal Justice, as well as swam on the varsity team at Olivet for four years. Patrick is currently a youth coach at the Allegan Juvenile Detention Center, making a big impact on kids. Patrick competes in swimming with Alexis, as well as bike races and triathlons around Michigan over the summer. He also enjoys reading, building Lego sets, and spending time with Alexis.
Maid of Honor
Noel Lefevre is the bride's sister! They have been the best of friends since Noel was born. They both went to Michigan State for undergrad, where they swam and lived together. Noel is finishing her PhD in BioEngineering at Oregon State University and plans to continue her career in research.
Best Man
Jack is the groom's best friend! Jack and Patrick were roommates during their freshmen year of college at Olivet and have continued their friendship for the past 9 years meeting up in Mackinaw City for drinks. Jack is currently living and working in Cheboygan.
Maid of Honor
Maisey is the bride's sister! They have been the best of friends since Maisey was born, even with the 5 year difference. Maisey and Alexis enjoy sisterly bonding over wine nights and cheesy TV shows. Maisey just finished her bachelor's degree in Aviation from Western Michigan University.
Groomsman
Phil wears two important hats this wedding-groomsman and father of the groom. For 27 years, Patrick has cherished his unwavering encouragement, steady presence, and willingness to help with Patrick's car repairs. Phil is currently enjoying his retirement relaxing and spending time with Patti.
Bridesmaid
Ingrid is the bride's best friend! Ingrid and Alexis met in developmental 1 while swimming for Capital Area Swim Team (CAST) in 2007. Ingrid is currently working on her PhD in BioEngineering at Georgia Technological University in Atlanta.
Groomsman
Mike Chambon is the groom's uncle! Over the past couple of years, Mike and Patrick have bonded over biking and craft beer. They have competed in multiple bike races together. Mike is currently retired and is living his best grandpa life in Arizona and Michigan with his family.
Bridesmaid
Laura is the bride's best friend! Laura and Alexis have been friends since 7th grade while both playing clarinet in Holt's concert bands, the 100s of Olive Garden dates, and Orange Theory classes. Laura is currently an optometrist in the Battle Creek area.
Groomswoman
Elise is the groom's friend! They met while working at the Allegan youth home three years ago. Elise will graduate from Western Michigan University with a degree to become a therapist and is currently a case manager for community mental health.
Mother of the Bride
Angel is the mother of the bride! Alexis would not be here today without her endless devotion, steadfast encouragement, and nurturing spirit for the past 26 years. Angel enjoys traveling with Pat, swimming, and playing tennis in her "half" retirement life.
Mother of the Groom
Patti is the mother of the groom! Patrick is thankful for her constant love and support in his life. Patti is currently a part-time substitute teacher in Hamilton Schools and loves the time she gets to spend with Phil in his retirement.
Father of the Bride
Pat is the father of the bride. Alexis is endlessly appreciative of his deep affection and unwavering support throughout 26 years, and for having a wonderful first name. In his retirement, Pat enjoys traveling with Angel, going to the beach in the summer, and relaxing.
