Now, I know people say that everything starts with the "best situation", but considering Patrick's and I's hobby's, it really was the best situation. We first met at the Holland Aquatic Center for swim practice in 2023. We were put in separate lanes for practice, but that didn't keep us away from each other for long. Soon, we were swimming in the same lane, lightly flirting, and finally, Patrick asked me on a date. The date was basically perfect. We went out to breakfast after swim practice and then went to Barnes and Noble to shop around, since we both LOVE books and reading. We became an official couple a few weeks later and we haven't looked back. On December 19th, Patrick, myself, and our sisters were planning on going out to dinner for a pre-Christmas get together. Little did I know, Patrick had been planning with our sisters to propose to me that night. It was a logistical nightmare with my nails taking longer than we thought and the proposal happening an hour later, but it was a perfect, heart warming surprise to a freezing cold night. We're so happy to have made it here and celebrate our love with you all!
