Our wedding is on the "Accidental Island" of West Seattle. A little history...In 2019, living here meant a quick 15 minute drive to downtown. But, in March 2020, they closed the high bridge for fear it would fall down. Currently, the lower bridge is only for emergency and public transit. This adds some drive time to any off-island adventures. The bridge is being repaired and is supposed to reopen in 2022. We recommend a nearby AirBnb if you are traveling to the wedding.
