Upon accepting a wonderful job opportunity, Lisa packed up and moved from Chicago to Cleveland, leaving behind the life she had previously known in the big city and wonderful friends that had made Chicago feel like home. She spent a lot of time traveling between her hometown Findlay, Ohio and Cleveland to be with family and friends. Someone back home mentioned trying a dating app to meet new people, but she was hesitant at first. She decided to give it a try, with little expectations. Little did she know, she would meet the love of her life, soulmate and best friend, Lee! Lee had been living in North Carolina where he was stationed for ten years serving his time in the US Marine Corps. Devoting many years to his country, he decided it was time to change his career path so he could devote more time to his son Michael and his family. He made the move back to Ohio, but having spent the last ten years in NC, his social circle had grown much smaller. His time was mostly focused on family and work. This gets pretty lonely at times, so he downloaded a dating app his cousin had mentioned. After a little while on the app he was losing hope in finding someone he connected with. Little did he know, he would soon match with the woman who quickly became his partner in crime and the love of his life, Lisa. A few weeks of messages and calls exchanged between the two, they both decided it was finally time to meet in person. Friday rolled around and Lee called to let Lisa know he was on his way to pick her up for their date.... except she had forgot all about it. They laughed it off and Lee rolled with the punches joining Lisa and her girlfriends for a night out. An evening of laughter and witty jokes quickly turned into passion and love, and they’ve been inseparable ever since!

They fell hard and fast <3 Lisa and Lee moved in together in Cleveland a few months after dating and continued their love story. Lisa loves to travel, planning their first trip together a few short weeks after dating to Finger Lakes, NY. Lee quickly developed a love for all their adventures together and travel as well. Since they’ve been together they’ve had the luxury of being able to share so many new experiences in places such as Mexico, New York, Bimini, Grand Bahama, Las Vegas, Cuba, Chicago and many other places. Their love for family, travel, and their fur babies have brought so much happiness to their life. In 2018 Lisa and Lee decided it was time to find a place to lay down roots. They packed up their life in Ohio and drove eighteen hours to sunny Fort Lauderdale, Fl where they now reside with their beloved Shih tzus, Baylee and Moose.

In March of 2019 Lisa and Lee traveled to Cuba for a close friends wedding. They were so excited for their first trip to Cuba to explore the culture. Neither of them had ever been, and it was on both of their bucket lists. They flew out on Lisa’s birthday. A few hours after they arrived in Cuba, Lee got down on one knee and proposed at the El Malecon. They spent the week there celebrating with friends, disconnected from the world!!!
