Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5:00PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, so be sure to give yourself enough time to arrive and settle in. If you’re staying at one of the hotels with a wedding block, we will provide a shuttle that will take you to the venue by 4:45 and will bring you back at the end of the night, or a few hours sooner if you’re not a night owl. NOTE: If you are driving into downtown, there is a Tigers Game at 1pm and it will likely end around 4pm, so please expect this to cause delays and give yourself enough time.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids, but we respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening (with the exception of the three little ones in our family).

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance either through your RSVP or if you missed that, contact Katie at (734)679-9717.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking available at the venue (1000 Maple St, Detroit, MI).

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy (and there isn’t a bunch of professional pictures of people holding their phones). We want to capture our guests enjoying the moment!
