Things To Do

"Allison and Sean, we all know Chicago! Why do you need a things to do page?" You'll need to fill that good ol' Catholic Gap between our ceremony and reception! Here are some of our favorite spots in our neighborhood, as well as some fun places near the venue you can hit before we see you at cocktail hour.

Pizza Lobo

5457 N Clark St, Chicago, IL

One of our favorite spots; get the classic crispy cauliflower and a filthy gin martini with their housemade bleu cheese olives or the 99 cent slice with a Miami Vice. (You know it's good when we HAD to take our engagement photos here)

Uvae Kitchen and Wine Bar

5553 N Clark Street, Chicago, IL

Uvae has been the site of many a date night or birthday celebration, plus they have a Saturday happy hour. $2 oysters and $5 glass of bubbles? Yes please!

A Taste of Heaven

5401 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL

Have a bit of a sweet tooth? Pop into Taste of Heaven! You can't go wrong with anything from their bakery case, but Al particularly loves their scones.

Moody's Pub

5910 N Broadway, Chicago

If it's a beautiful day and you want to spend some time outside, Moody's has the best patio. Warning: there isn't a parking lot so you may have to test your parallel parking skills.

Goose Island Taproom

1800 West Fulton Street, Chicago, IL

Have a Beer Hug in our honor! Beers start at $3.

Friends of Friends

2001 West Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612

The cutest bar a 5 minute walk from Salvage One. The Big & Spicy is our favorite, but this bar also has one of the best martinis we've ever had.
