Sakena has raised Rayda to be respectful, kind, and generous, qualities that have made him an incredible partner and human being. She is a constant source of comfort and support, and has welcomed Sarah into the Slitine family with warmth and love.

Sandy Sue is one of kind. She is kind yet tenacious, a shining example of strength and benevolence. She has always been the rock of the Handley family. No matter the circumstance, she is always willing to sacrifice her own needs for her family. She has raised Sarah to be independent, resilient, and industrious. Her love and dedication is boundless, and without her this new union would not be possible.

Chris Rue is one of Rayda's dearest friends. The Gruene Grove is his amazing concept, and he has worked tirelessly to see it come to fruition. Chris is truly the salt of the Earth, and he is deeply loved by both Sarah and Rayda (as well as by most folks that know him). Their big day would not be the same without his kindness, support, and generosity.

Wesley Pursley
Hair Stylist
Wesley "Goobie" Pursley is Sarah's best friend and hairstylist. He and Sarah moved to Austin together in 2010, but have been friends for a lifetime. Wesley and Sarah have been constant through trials, tribulations, career shifts, and major life changes. He is the ultimate definition of a best friend, and now he's one of Rayda's favorite people too. Thank you Wesley for all that you do!
