Exactly how far back do we want to go? Because according to Michael, the first time we met was when he came to my door when he was in high school looking for my Dad. I (Leanna) don't remember this, but I do remember having the BIGGEST crush on Michael in high school. I was just a little freshman and he was the cool senior, and I remember thinking I would absolutely die if I ever got the chance to talk to him. Flash forward a few years to 2017 when Leanna's Dad Frank took it upon himself to "subtly" let Michael know Leanna was (still) very interested in him, and that he should "check out Facebook". Leanna, having not been made aware of any of this, couldn't believe her eyes when a message from Michael Pcola saying "Hey there can you do me a favor and ask your dad what time darts starts tomorrow??" showed up in her notifications. It wasn't long after that the two of us starting talking, and, as fate would have it, fell in love. Over the next two years, we were inseparable. It was hard to find one of us without the other. We decided to get a dog together, our lovable little Lucy. We took a lot of trips together. We've gone to the Outter Banks, on an Alaskan Cruise, explored Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, and we've taken trips to Maryland, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Nashville, Philadelphia, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho together. We fell into an easy pattern of doing things together, like golfing, gardening, playing trivia, and spending time at the Jamestown Rod and Gun Club (where I like to say it all began). By 2019, the topic of marriage started coming up more and more. We both knew that we found "our person". After celebrating our third Halloween party together at the JRG, we went home and Michael got down on one knee in his living room, told me that he wanted to spend forever with me, and asked if I would please be his wife. Of course the answer was YES!!! and the two of us are really looking forward to spending a lifetime of love and laughter together.
