Madi (or sometimes MJ) and Leanna met at George Fox University in their Juniors Abroad class that preceded their 3-week trip to Peru. Leanna's first impression of Madi was how quiet and reserved she seemed to be. After spending more time with her, Leanna soon realized that MJ was the smartest and one of the most interesting people she had ever met!

Matt is a pastor at Leanna and Gage's church, Church for All (CFA). Leanna and her mom first attended a service at CFA in April 2023. Matt and his wife, Kim, serve as lead pastors, and the couple is incredibly grateful to have their support as we embark on this next, exciting chapter of our lives.

Pastor Dave was Leanna's childhood pastor. Leanna's family began attending Solid Rock Community Church when she was just a year old. Every Sunday, she would watch him preach and then give him a crisp high-five afterward—a tradition she continued until leaving for college. Leanna couldn't imagine her wedding without Pastor Dave being a part of it, and she is deeply grateful that he will be there to share in this special moment.
