Celebrate Our Love

Leah and Viraj shared their first date at Archie Moore's in the East Rock neighborhood of New Haven. They both felt an instant connection and quickly learned they had a lot in common. Both of them knew by the end of the date that this was the start of something special.

On their first date, Viraj and Leah discussed their shared love for tennis, and they decided they would play together in the future. Viraj said he had not played in a very long time, giving Leah the false impression that he was going to be rusty and inconsistent. Leah still agreed to play with Viraj and got a quick reality check when she was repeatedly getting beaten 6-0. After this, Leah decided the best strategy was to team up with Viraj instead and they have been double partners ever since!

Viraj proposed while on vacation with Leah, her parents and her brother in their family home in the White Mountains. He conspired with her family to surprise her on one of the family's favorite hikes up Pine Mountain (which was one of Leah's first hikes ever when she was little).
