Hike: Cecret Lake

Hike: Red Pine Lake
An 8-mile hike, trailhead 5 minutes down the road from Alta Lodge.
Hike: White Pine Lake
11-mile hike, same trailhead as Red Pine Lake, 5 minutes down the road from Alta Lodge. Just as beautiful as Red Pine Lake, and less crowded.
Hike: Alta-Brighton Lakes Loop
Leah and Ryan's personal favorite - a gorgeous loop through 3 different ski resorts, with views of 4 different alpine lakes and gorgeous wildflowers. 8 miles. We highly recommend using the AllTrails app (free to download) to follow this trail as it is easy to take the wrong trail, but oh-so-worth-it when you do take the right trail! Can leave right from the Lodge.
Hike: Stewart Falls Trail
A flat-ish 3-mile hike to a gorgeous waterfall. 1 hour drive from Alta Lodge.
Hike: Pipeline Trail
A gorgeous, actually flat trail in Mill Creek Canyon that Ryan and Leah frequently run on. Can go anywhere from 1/4 mile to 15 miles and have beautiful views the whole time. Ask Leah and Ryan where to start from to avoid any uphill!
The Cliff Spa
Want to freshen up with a massage, pedicure, blowout, or yoga class? The Snowbird Spa is 1.5 miles down the road and a delightful experience. Generally, you need to book your experience a few days in advance.
Park City
Park City with its delightful main street is under an hour from Alta Lodge. Our favorites include No Name Saloon, Pink Elephant Coffee, and High West Distillery.
High West Distillery
Whiskey drinkers and non-whiskey drinkers alike will enjoy the beautiful High West Distillery - schedule a whiskey tasting ahead of time! One hour drive from Alta Lodge.
