FAQs

The Wedding Website of Leah Picacio and Ryan Jimison
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us on our big day! Please dress to impress in your best formal attire. Deep jewel tones are encouraged keeping in mind that our bridesmaids will be wearing a deep navy. Although our wedding is close to the holidays, please no white, ivory, or cream colors.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP on our wedding website. Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our immediate and out of state family. Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than November 1st using the RSVP tab in the menu of our wedding website. If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, we will assume you are unable to attend and will finalize our guest count with our vendors. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding a seat. Once the doors shut, they will not open again until the ceremony is over.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The cocktail hour will take place outdoors, with patio heaters provided if needed.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means that once the ceremony begins, we kindly ask everyone to silence and put away their phones. We want you to be fully present with us, allowing our photographers and videographer to capture the best moments, which we will happily share with you. Cellphones will be welcomed during cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! Our venue offers free on-site parking. We encourage guests to drink responsibly. If you need to leave your car overnight, it MUST be picked up no later than 10:00 a.m. the following morning.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you—party responsibly! Our venue is easily accessible by Uber and Lyft. Please make sure you have a safe way to get home.

Question

Not ready for the night to end?

Answer

After the reception, join the Bride and Groom at Winstar World Casino & Resort! Please note you will need to provide your own transportation and/or accommodations for the night.
