The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of interesting twists and turns. For Leah and Keanan, it was the lovely platform of zoom that facilitated their introductions. Leah and Keanan were both graduate students at Northern Arizona University in the biology program, and one day during zoom-class, Leah receives this message: "From: Keanan Allen, To Me: (Privately) Hey! First off, I'm sorry if this comes across as weird or awkward, didn't quite know the best way of doing this. I blame the pandemic, but anyways. I think you're cute, and I'd like to get to know you over a coffee or something, but only if you'd like to or also interested, of course. Anyway, thought I'd let you know. Also, your research is really cool, but definitely a bummer you can't do much with it all due to COVID and all." ... "To: Keanan Allen, From Me: (Privately) Text me! (480)-----" And that's how it all began, folks. Match made on zoom, who would've thought.
