FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We'd love for parents to have a night-off for our wedding. We love the little ones, but request adults only for the Wedding Ceremony + Reception. Feel free to bring your kiddos to the Welcome Party. For childcare, check out this nanny network: https://www.taosnannies.com

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep things intimate, we will not be accommodating plus ones; invitations are extended to named guests only. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What will the temperature be like in Taos in September?

Answer

Warm during the days, possibly chilly when the sun sets - so bring layers!

Question

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Yes, bring your sunscreen. And those with an affinity for heels: we suggest you leave your stilettos at home. Block heels or sandals will be more comfortable as we'll be around native grass and dirt.

Question

How do I go to the ceremony space?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided - more info to come.

Question

What is the elevation in Taos Ski Valley?

Answer

9,200 feet at Base! That's about 1,000 feet higher than Aspen Snowmass Base. High enough that you can tell, so we recommend lots of hydration leading up to your travel and while you're there.

Question

Is there anything specific I should plan to pack?

Answer

We'd like to plan a group hike for the early arrivals (likely on Thursday). If you want to join, you might want to pack hiking boots, proper sun protection, and hiking poles (if you're into that kind of thing). Bring a water bottle, too!
