It's the #1 question on a lot of our friends and families minds. Alright now, we are from Oklahoma, we live in Washington, DC, how did we land on Taos, New Mexico of all places? The answer is a combination of a few logical conclusions we came to post-engagement: 1) 10 (!!) years together means we have built a community of people we love and want to spend time with, it would be sad to try to fit that time into a five-hour slot on a Saturday evening in OKC 2) Leah misses her dad. A lot. Taos was his happy place. We will be wed a stone's throw from one of his favorite trailheads and 3) Taos is magical. Everyone should experience it. Why not bring everyone we love to the mountains? So, think elevated summer camp vibe (in exceptional spaces)! We feel lucky to know the people we do and that so many of you are willing to venture out of state for us. We promise to make it worth your while and schedule intentional time together, outside of the classic ceremony and reception. Let's freakin' party!
