Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Leah Cote and Hugh Maguire
We're excited to share some of our favorite places in the area with you.

The Plaza District

Hip little cultural district featuring galleries, studios, retail shops, restaurants, performance venues and creative services. We love Goro Ramen, The Prichard Wine Bar, Empire Pizza, the OKC Improv, and Aurora Breakfast, Bar & Backyard.

Paseo Arts District

Another artsy cultural district in the city featuring small businesses, art galleries, and historic buildings. We love Picasso Cafe, The Root (craft beer and live music), and their arts festival every spring.

Cowboys

Down-home dance club with country music, two-stepping, and live indoor bull riding. Where we first met! Smokey and loud, but always a good time, if you feel like dancin.

Stonecloud Brewing Company

One of our favorite breweries in OKC, and for Monday night trivia.

Fassler Hall

"Authentic German Beer Hall of the Midwest" known for its beer, brunch, and live entertainment. We love this spot for the large outdoor patio, and retro bowling alley downstairs. Also, Thursday night karaoke!

Bricktown Water Taxi

An entertaining and historically-themed narrated cruise through the heart of downtown Oklahoma City’s Bricktown entertainment district.

VAST

New American fine dining & cocktails on the 49th floor of the Devon Tower in Downtown OKC.

Full Circle Bookstore

Our favorite bookstore in OKC. Great spot to chill, read, talk, grab lunch, coffee, or a glass of wine.

Bleu Garten

OKC's original food truck park. Outdoor lawn games, fire pits, local food and flavors.

Myriad Botanical Gardens & Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory

Myriad Botanical Gardens is a beautiful and vibrant garden and park space in the heart of downtown. Free and open to the public, the outdoor spaces include: ornamental gardens, a children’s garden and playground, Great Lawn, water features including splash fountains for children and walking and jogging paths. We love this spot for summer concerts and picnics.

Feel like Running a Marathon?

Sunday, April 28, 2019, The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Voted one of the 12 ‘must-run’ marathons in the world by Runner’s World magazine, the 26.2 miles is loaded with bands, cheering supporters, banners, and the most scenic neighborhoods in Oklahoma City.
