NOPE! This stunning bit of Tuscan countryside is off the beaten path and located on a protected UNESCO heritage site. There is no uber and the nearest taxi service is based in Siena, so will take ~40 mins to arrive. You should pre-arrange transportation from the airport and utilize the shuttles for the welcome party and ceremony/reception. There is parking available at the Rosewood if you rented a car and would like to drive to any events.
The shuttles will be running between the Si Montalcino and the Rosewood on Friday night for the Pizza Party and Saturday for the ceremony and reception. All guests staying in Montalcino must depart from the Si Hotel. The ride to the venue is 15-20 minutes. Friday: first shuttle from Si Montalcino at 6:30pm, last shuttle from Rosewood at 11pm Saturday: shuttle from Si Montalcino at 4pm, last shuttle from Rosewood at 12:30am
Sadly, no. We are excited for those who are bringing the whole family to Italy, but children are not permitted at the ceremony or reception. This is for safety and for the convenience of all guests. Please plan to make your own arrangements for childcare during the wedding events as needed.
Of course!!! We hope you will enjoy as much time as possible in Tuscany. If you would like to stay at the Rosewood for additional nights, you can book directly on their website at the standard rates. Wedding suite reservations are separate as they are part of our buy-out, so depending on the type of room you select for additional nights you may be required to switch rooms for your other reservation, but the RWCdB team can assist you with any bookings and questions.
We get it boys...you like golf. Those looking to golf , we will have several morning groups on Friday/Saturday. Please reach out to Pete Jordan (pete.jordan@verizon.net) to indicate interest or you can reach out to the Rosewood directly to book.
