Leah and Drew met on an app called Bumble! You know...how millennials meet these days. Little did they know, they would end up sitting next to each other on a small couch in Drew's apartment typing up their how they met story. Kinda crazy when you think about it, but the whole way we met was that way too. (Drew) I swiped right because Leah's profile showed pictures of herself hiking and what looked to be a baseball jersey. Although it wasn't the words Atlanta across the chest, I was never the less impressed. Baseball and hiking are two of my favorite things. I swiped right and boom! A match. I almost couldn't believe it. (Leah) I swiped right on Drew because he had a dog. I didn't realize I would be calling myself his dog momma two years later, but here I am. After talking for a few days through the app and even over the phone. (Drew claims she made up a Southern Accent to get the fancy Southerners attention, but Leah has this in hot debate) Drew finally made his move. He asked her to dinner via a 3 paragraph cover letter. Leah was sold. Drew took her to dinner at El Felix, a Mexican restaurant outside of the Atlanta Braves ballpark. Leah was again, sold. Mexican food has become quite the staple in the Vanater - Vinci diet. We were both so nervous that we pushed our food around our plates. It might be the first time Leah didn't finish her meal at a Mexican restaurant. Dinner was followed by a really bad Star Wars movie that they talked through. Drew asked her for a 2nd date when he took her back to her car and the rest is history!
