Where should I stay?

Answer

We will be staying at an airBNB but many family members will be at the Lafayette Park Hotel, a very fancy hotel in town. Lower cost alternatives would be local airBNB or hotels in Oakland

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless their name is on the invitation, we would request that you enjoy the “night off” and leave the kids with a babysitter

Please rsvp no later than August 1, 2021 so that we have enough time to inform the caterer/nag you to actually rsvp before the event

Yes, but please carpool with family if possible!

Lafayette Park Hotel has a shuttle service but otherwise please arrange transportation

The best bet for this area is to have a car, but it is possible to get around with a combination of BART and Uber or Lyft.

What COVID procedures will be in place?

Answer

The guest list is limited to 100 people maximum to ensure proper spacing. Ceremony seating will be socially distanced and outdoors. We ask that masks be worn if you cannot maintain a 6 foot distance from a guest outside of your household or pod. Seating during dinner will be determined by households and pods. We will also be live-streaming the ceremony for those who would like to attend but don’t feel safe traveling.
