Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Marchè (914 N Peters St, New Orleans, LA 70116), offering breathtaking views overlooking the iconic French Market Place and the mighty Mississippi River.

When do you suggest guests arrive?

Answer

There is a lot to see and experience in New Orleans, so we suggest arriving on Friday to get the most out of your trip.

How far is downtown New Orleans from the airport?

Answer

The airport is about a 30 to 45 minute drive from downtown New Orleans. A line of Uber and Lyft’s will be available as you exit baggage claim from the airport, so you can kick your feet up and relax as they transport you into the city.

Can I stay in an AirBnB?

Answer

It is important to note that New Orleans has recently enacted a citywide ban on Airbnb and similar short-term rental services due to community concerns and therefore these accommodations will be extremely limited.

What is the weather going to be like in New Orleans May 2024?

Answer

May in New Orleans brings a delightful mix of warm temperatures and a touch of Southern charm. While we can’t predict the exact weather conditions, we recommend planning for a lovely, warm springtime atmosphere.

What should I wear?

Our wedding ceremony attire will be formal, so bring your best dress!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request all guests to join us in celebrating our special day by arriving at the wedding ceremony between 4:30-4:45 PM. Your timely presence will ensure that the joyous occasion begins smoothly, allowing us to cherish every moment together. We hope to begin the ceremony promptly at 5:00 PM.

Will there be transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be limited transportation running on a loop from the Sheraton and NOPSI hotel to the wedding venue starting at 4:30 pm.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

There are several parking lots available near the venue! The closest parking lot is called Premium Parking and is located at 433 St Peter Street, which is about a 4-minute walk to venue. The lot is long and skinny—so if you drive towards the exit, you’ll be even closer!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Because our lovely New Orleans summer showers can be o’ so unpredictable, we have taken the chance of rain out of our forecast. Everything will be indoors!

Answer

Absolutely! We don’t want anyone missing out on this special night!

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What’s the best way to let you know?

Answer

We kindly request that you leave us a note regarding any specific allergies or dietary restrictions when you select your menu options during the RSVP process.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Those who wish to keep the party rolling with us can take a short two-minute walk towards Jackson Square to enjoy some beignets at Cafe du Monde!
