Sam and Leah have been friends since elementary school. Leah always tells the story how Sam saved her life by taking an injured Leah to the teacher. Sam and Leah became good friends in 3rd grade thanks to Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church. They became best friends in middle school. Leah's fondest memories usually involve Sam in some way. Whenever Leah is in town she always makes it a point to stop by the Moe's household and the fridge and pantry are never off limits. Leah couldn't have asked for a better friend to stand by her side on her biggest day.

Kenny Johnson

Best Man

Kenny will be the best man and officiant for the wedding. Dan and Kenny have known each other since Dan was 18. They worked together, lived together, and have stayed in touch throughout the years. Dan and Leah love hanging out with Kenny and his wife Erin and their baby, Kenny. Leah and Dan couldn't be happier to have Kenny a part of their special day.

Kate is Leah's oldest sister. She has always been a role model for Leah even if she didn't know it. Leah and Dan love spending time in the summer with the Vaughn's and especially when their son Dallan comes to stay with them. Leah and Dan are honored to have Kate in their wedding.

Mike is Dan's younger brother. Mike and his wife Hailey are always so wonderful whenever everyone is able to get together. Mike and Hailey honored Dan by having Dan stand up in their wedding.

Meghan Christian

Meghan is Leah's older sister. Leah and Meghan are only 18 months apart and as a result always got in trouble. Leah has great memories of visiting Meghan at school in Eau Claire. Leah and Dan are honored to have her in their wedding.

Tim is Dan's youngest brother. Tim and his fiancee are also teachers so they always have something to talk about when they get together. Tim and Bethany have honored Dan by asking him to stand up in his wedding in December.

Jamie is Leah's youngest sister. Jamie and Leah used to have to share a room when they were younger so you can imagine how many fights they used to get into. One of Leah's fondest memories with Jamie was when Jamie came up to Oshkosh. Jamie and Leah hung out and played games until like 3 in the morning. Dan and Leah are very excited to have Jamie stand up in their wedding.

Lauren and Leah have known each other since 5th grade when they were in Brigade together. They became closer when Lauren started to go to the same church as Leah. Brigade really sparked their friendship. Leah and Lauren have stayed close even throughout college. They both worked at the same summer camps working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Leah has always thought that Jack and Lauren were the perfect couple. Leah was honored to be a part of Lauren and Jack's wedding and now Dan and Leah are returning the honor to Lauren.

Kel and Leah have known each other since their first year at UW-Oshkosh. Kel and Leah were student teaching at Oshkosh West and eventually both were hired together. They would rely on each other through the growing pains of a new teacher. Kel was one of the first people who knew that Leah and Dan were moving to Colorado. Kel has been Leah's rock for so many situations. Leah and Dan are honored to have known Kel for so long, and she has known Dan and Leah separately and together.

Kristin and Leah met at DDS in Denver. The two carpool together and therefore have become very close. Kristin invited Dan and Leah on several adventures and is always up for a hike. Kristin is always there for Leah and even though they haven't known each other long they are great friends. Leah and Dan are very excited to have Kristin stand up in their wedding.

Mel and Leah met when they began working at DDS together. Throughout the course of the year Mel and Leah have gotten even closer. Mel has broaden Leah's horizons by taking her bouldering and taking ELA classes with her. Dan loves Mel's honesty and realness. Leah and Dan are honored to have Mel stand up in their wedding.

Dallan is Leah's nephew. Dan and Leah loved when Dallan would visit Wisconsin because that meant Dallan would stay with them for a couple of days. Dallan is a super smart, curious, and hilarious boy.

Henry Maggio

Henry is Leah's Godson and, in her humble opinion, the cutest almost 4 year old there is. Henry is the definition of a boy's boy. Dan and Leah love to visit the Maggio's whenever they are home and love showering the children with love.
