Mount Currie Coffee Company - local spot with a location in Pemberton and Whistler North Arm Farm - a must see with the best views of Mount Currie just a few minutes from our venue! They offer drinks and light bites as well The Beer Farmers - we haven't been ourselves, but the wedding venue owners recommend it! Or check the closer but slightly less aesthetic Pemberton Brewing Company. For restaurants, our venue owners recommend Mile One, The Pony, or Town Square, which are all located close to the venue in Pemberton. If you're staying in Whistler you'll have dozens to choose from there as well.
Nairn Falls (~2 miles) Joffre Lakes (~6 miles)
Whistler Gondola and Peak 2 Peak Gondola - If you have an extra day (and about $65 USD) this would be our top recommendation. Take the gondola up to take in the views and get lunch at Roundhouse Lodge and Bar. At the beginning of June there should still be plenty of snow at the top so while you won't see wildflowers this time of year, Whistler carves out giant snow walls along an alpine road providing a one of a kind trail. Lower Elevation Hikes near Whistler - Trails at the base of the mountain should be snow free by May. Recommended trails include Lost Lake, Whistler Train Wreck and Rainbow Falls. Downhill Mountain Biking - If you're up for a real adventure, Whistler is really known as the mountain biking capital of the world. The bike season usually opens in April and summer season opens June 9th so most of the mountain should be open by our wedding weekend. Check out Whistler Blackcomb's website for trail maps, lift tickets, rentals and lessons.
