Peggy and Elizabeth (Bibbit) have been best friends since Elizabeth moved two streets away from Peggy in 3rd Grade. They have shared many parallel paths in their lives - sharing almost all of their high school memories (including being on swim team) together, living together for 3 years while attending The Ohio State University, being remote support systems through the pains of adult life, and traveling the world by each other sides. Matt has it made out for him to try to fill Peggy and Bridget's shoes.
Bridget Lanning

Bridget and Elizabeth (Bibbit) have been "default" best friends since they were born, approximately one month apart. Bridget is Elizabeth's cousin, but her first role has always been best friend. Similar to Peggy, Bridget and Elizabeth have lived parallel paths, dating back to elementary schools and overnight sleepovers with their other cousin, Jessy. Again, Bridget has been one of the mainstays in Elizabeth's life, to which Matt has big shoes to fill.
Christina Reitz

Christina is Elizabeth's future sister in law (married to the oldest Reitz brother, Cody). Christina was one of the first people to make Elizabeth feel welcome into the family, and has set the path for the future Reitz sisters (name still under construction).
Parnia Salehi

Dr. Parnia, ER doctor extraordinaire, is currently dating Matt's 2nd oldest brother, Dr, Logan. Parnia and Elizabeth have developed a mutual love for wine and the Reitz family since Elizabeth and Matt began dating years ago. We hope to add her to the Reitz sister's group in the future, no pressure Logan.
Samantha Green

Sam is one of Elizabeth's first and closest friends in Atlanta. Elizabeth is glad Sam stuck around, considering the first night they met, Elizabeth told Sam to ditch the guy who wasn't treating her the way she deserved in the back of an Uber. They share a love of lemonade vodkas by the pool and dining at Atlanta's best restaurants.
Kelsey Leab

Kelsey and Elizabeth met many years ago, coincidentally at Elizabeth's birthday where she met her future husband, Elizabeth's brother Kyle. Kelsey was welcomed in to the Leab family, a little over a year ago. Since Kelsey will no longer be the newest member of the family, perhaps she can provide Matthew with some pointers.
Austin Holtzer
Best Man
Austin has been Matt's best friend ever since his family moved to Alpharetta, Georgia, when he was only 10 years old. After they met on AOL Instant Messenger and Matt's mom followed him in a suburban to make sure he found the right house in the neighborhood, the two have been the best of friends. Growing up, they played football together, threw parties together (nothing to see here, parents), and always had a lot of fun. Today, the two of them enjoy nerding out on things like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Now Matt will get his own ring in marriage, and Austin will be there in full support.
Cody Reitz

Cody is Matt's oldest of his three brothers. Growing up, he paved the way for his younger brothers, getting them interested in sports, and, more importantly, showing them how to do "streetball" basketball moves in the driveway. He's perhaps the most competitive of the Reitz boys, which is why Matt is wary of playing board games with him nowadays. He is the proud father of ring-bearer, Eric, and flower girl, Elena, along with his wife, Christina, who is one of Elizabeth's bridesmaids. Matt & Elizabeth look up to him and Christina as they embark on their marital journey and future path to parenthood.
Logan Reitz

Dr. Logan Reitz, more commonly known as "Lojan," is Matt's second oldest brother and closest in age to him. Growing up, he was something of a mother hen, making sure Matt didn't wander off into too much trouble or get pushed around too much by Cody. He has taken that protective energy to become an orthopedic surgeon and is now working in residency at the University of Minnesota. While still in medical school, he lived at home for a time, and despite the pandemic, he was able to spend a lot of quality time with Matt & Elizabeth over the past year, making Elizabeth feel very welcome in the family.
Connor Reitz

Connor is Matt's younger brother. When Matt's parents asked him and his older brothers if they wanted a dog or a baby so many years ago, Matt said was the only one who said he wanted a dog. Low and behold, on Matt's 7th birthday, Connor was born! Matt's main concern at the time, however, was how he would know Connor's phone number to wish him a happy birthday every year. Now, 20 years later, Connor is studying Computer Science at Georgia Tech. While living at home in the summer, he grew close with the bride-to-be as Matt & Elizabeth paid many visits, bringing with them much-appreciated White Claws.
Joe Albano

Joe has been one of Matt's best friends since the 5th grade. After Matt slept over one night and they watched Coneheads and Bill & Ted's Excellent adventure, he knew they'd be best buds for a long time. They attended elementary, middle, and high school together growing up, and ended up being roommates at the University of Georgia. After college, they were roommates again for a few years, where they commiserated together over the tragedy that is Georgia sports. Now, Matt has a new roommate and life partner in Elizabeth. Perhaps Joe can give her some pointers in dealing with Matt's messy living habits.
Kyle Leab

Kyle is Elizabeth's brother and Matt's future brother-in-law. When Matt first met Elizabeth's family, Kyle immediately made him feel welcome and as if he was a part of the family. He has the unfortunate luck of being a Bengals fan, but he and Matt will cheer on the Buckeyes together (so long as they're not playing the Bulldogs). He is now a proud dog dad, as his corgy-mix named Kolby is constantly at his side. Kyle may have to show Matt a thing or two about being married and of taking care of a child like Kolby.
