Hello beloved friends and family!
If you prefer to fly rather than drive, there is an airport in San Luis Obispo.
We inquired about room reservation blocks at the Madonna Inn, but they were unavailable. They also did not offer any discounts for wedding guests. If you want to stay at the Madonna, we recommend reserving early! All the rooms are unique and sell out quickly.
If you need a larger room, we have found Hotel Buena Vista to have great, affordable options for families, as they have some rooms with multiple bedrooms and a kitchen.
You would be hard-pressed to find an area in SLO or the neighboring cities that is unsafe or "the bad area of town", so don't worry about that!
