The Carmel Valley is home to many great wineries to spend some time at, including Folktale Winery. Other options in the valley include Holman Ranch, Georis Winery, Big Sur Vineyards, Bernardus Winery, Cowgirl Winery and Joullian Vineyards. While you’re there, take a lunch or early dinner break and sit outside at Café Rustica or Roux! They are both walking distance to a couple wineries and are cute local spots.
Get outdoors and hike around Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Take the Bird Island Trail for some of the most incredible sights in California. Garland Ranch Regional Park, located in the heart of the valley also has some great hiking trails!
See Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula with this famous scenic drive that runs along the Pacific coastline to the Del Monte Forest. Be sure to check out the Lone Cypress, and watch the seals!
If you are coming a day early or staying a day late, there are several golf courses in the surrounding area. A few recommended courses are: Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, Del Monte Golf Course
Grab some coffee and a pastry at one of the many great coffee shops off Ocean Ave, then take a morning walk down to Carmel Beach!
