We went to the same high school, but never really ran in the same circles - although Daniel remembers being in French class together and Sarah doesn't! The "meet cute" came when we were helping our best friends Hannah and Cameron (who happen to be our matron of honor and best man!) move into their new home a few summers ago. Later that afternoon, Sarah told Hannah that she liked Daniel's hair (if you know, you know) and Hannah spurred into action as match-maker. A few weeks later and we were meeting at Holy City Brewing for our first date and stayed and talked for hours. We knew then that it was something special!

This past spring, we took a trip to Utah to see the "Big 5" national parks for some hiking and camping, rounding out the trip in Vegas! Sarah knew the proposal was coming on the trip but didn't know when - which made each moment more heightened wondering when it could happen! Zion was our final destination before we went to Vegas, and we were camping inside the park right underneath the Watchman Peak. That morning, we woke up early to do the Watchman Trail and reached the overlook before the crowds had started to gather. Sarah sat down for a water break and when she looked up, Daniel was down on one knee. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
