FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lucas Milano and Emily Lawrence
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that gentlemen wear dark suits, while ladies are encouraged to wear midi or floor-length gowns. We want everyone to look their best and celebrate in style!

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking if you wish to drive to the venue. We are also working on a shuttle system for guests who are wanting to let loose at the reception.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put all phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want our guests to be present with us rather than behind their screens. We have a professional photographer who will be taking plenty of photos to capture the ceremony for us as well as a videographer. You are welcome to take as many photos as you want after the ceremony!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, and we encourage you to let loose and enjoy!

Question

All My Friends Song

Answer

In case you are interested in doing a little homework, check out the song All My Friends by the band LCD Soundsystem. Our DJ will play it near the very end of the night. This could end up being 10-15 of us going crazy on the dance floor while 80-90 people awkwardly look on, and that will be perfectly acceptable.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we've opted for an adults-only affair to let everyone kick back and relax.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

For your convenience, we've reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn & Suites Dahlonega University Area located at 8835 South Chestatee St, Dahlonega, GA. You can find additional hotel recommendations under the Travel page. Dahlonega is a beautiful mountain town, so we do recommend exploring Airbnb or Vrbo for other accommodations. October is Dahlonega's busy season for all the fall foliage, so we recommend booking as soon as you know you are able to make it! We can't wait to welcome you and celebrate together!

Question

When should I RSVP by?
