Remi and Amber met in Ms. White’s kindergarten class (23 years ago!). They quickly became friends and have been inseparable ever since. Remi and Amber are more like sisters than friends and often joke that Lawrence is their “third wheel” whenever they are together. Remi is a New Orleans native and will be traveling from Tallahassee, FL.

David has been a close friend of the groom for 12 years. They became friends during freshman year of college when they both were from Texas during the “dougie” era. They are members of the friend group L.L.D, which was established by other peers after watching the group members spending all free time together in college. They are also fraternity brothers, college roommates, and best friends. David is travelling from Houston, TX.

Bria is Amber’s first cousin, and also her first best friend. Born only 1 month and 2 days apart, Bria has always been Amber’s partner in crime. It’s safe to say that Amber could not walk down the aisle without her A1 since day 1 by her side! Bria is a native of LaPlace, LA and will be traveling from Baton Rouge.

Kobrin has been a close friend of the groom since early grade school. They attended elementary school together and the later years of high school. Kobrin has always taken the “big brother” role in their relationship since neither individual has any brothers growing up. Their parents are best friends and both members spent many years together in adolescents. Kobrin will be traveling from Dallas, TX.

Ariel and Amber met on the first day of 1st grade when Ariel was crying after her daddy dropped her off. Amber told Ariel “don’t cry, I’ll be your friend” and stayed true to her word. Ariel is like a true sister to Amber. Even when they fuss, they know they will always have one another’s back. Their friendship has truly withstood the test of time (22 years)! Ariel is a New Orleans native and current resident.

TJ is the nephew to the groom. They have known each other since birth and have many memories with one another good and bad. The groom acted as a big brother who always teased his nephew. It was not until they both became adults that the groom transformed into the big brother, friend, and mentor that has been available whenever TJ needed him. The groom thinks of TJ as a fraternity brother, nephew-brother, and good friend. TJ will be traveling form Greensboro, NC.

Jessica and Amber met on the first day of 7th grade when they sat next to each other and Amber needed to borrow a piece of paper. They quickly bonded and were together so much, people started referring to them as “twins”. Although they attended different high schools and colleges, their twin bond was unbreakable, so it only makes sense that Amber would need Jessica by her side on her wedding day! Jessica is a New Orleans native and current resident.

Lelann has been a good friend of the groom for 12 years; they have known each other since freshman year of college. As the other member of the group, L.L.D., Lelann and the groom spent much time together in their collegiate years. Additionally, Lelann has been the groom’s college roommate and international travel buddy over the years; they have travel to at least 7 countries together. The groom views Lelann as one of his most adventurous brothers and the one who will take risk for the best life experiences. Lelann is also a member of the same fraternity as the groom. Lelann will be traveling from Nashville, TN.

Lorena and Amber met in their first year of dental school, however they did not become close until 3rd year. If they had realized how much they had in common they’d have become friends much sooner! Amber and Lorena bonded over Student National Dental Association and a mutual love for Cardi B. By graduation they had become best friends. Lorena is a native of Bogota, Colombia and a current resident of New Orleans.

Joe has been a good friend of the groom for 12 years. Joe is a member of the same fraternity and chapter of the groom. Joe was an older member, so their relationship has changed and developed over the years. Joe and the groom have bonded over many memories and similarities over the years. The groom knows that he can count on Joe for anything he needs. They have traveling to many social events together dating back to their undergraduate years. Joe will be traveling from New York City, NY.

Tori and Amber became friends when they were both on the cheerleading team at Benjamin Franklin high school. They bonded over their mutual silliness, and even more so as captain (Amber) and co-captain (Tori) during their respective senior and junior years. Whenever Tori and Amber get together, you know some craziness is about to happen. Tori is a New Orleans native and current resident.

Bryson has been a good friend of the groom for 7 years. Similar to Elliot, they met when the groom moved to Las Vegas, NV for his master’s degree. At the time, Elliot and Bryson were roommates. Bryson and the groom earned each other’s mutual respect by the many similarities shared between them. The groom views Bryson as a dependable friend who is always up for the task. Bryson and the groom are also fraternity brothers. Bryson will be traveling from Las Vegas, NV.

Cydney and Amber met when Amber transferred to Xavier University of New Orleans in theology class. Lawrence and Cydney’s husband Donald like to take credit for their friendship, however, they became friends before Amber and Lawrence started dating. After college, Cydney and Amber attended medical and dental school respectively, but remained close despite their busy schedules. Cydney is a native of and will be traveling from Lake Charles, LA.

Donald has been a good friend of the groom for 11 years. They met by being members of the same fraternity and having many mutual friends. Donald and the groom “crossed” the same season and year, which makes them “sandz.” While Donald did attend Xavier’s rival, Dillard, the relationship between the two continues to grow despite their college differences. Donald’s wife is also good friend with the bride. They both were members of their bridal party. Donald will be traveling from Lake Charles, LA.

Jordan and Amber met in 9th grade and quickly became friends. They both lived in “da East” and therefore spent a lot of time at each other’s houses. They became so close that Amber would call Jordan when she was already outside her house to let her in. It was only right that they became college roommates, and that Jordan stand by her side in her wedding. Jordan is a New Orleans native and will be traveling from Baton Rouge.

Elliott was always welcoming to the groom and invited him into the family. Elliott and the groom are also fraternity brothers, which aided them into developing a close relationship. The groom views Elliott as a good friend and mentor, which motivates him to live the “life.” The groom was also a member of Elliott groom’s crew 3 years ago. Elliott will be travelling from Hawai’i.
