Cafe Du Monde French Market
Seriously, the best beignets in New Orleans. There are multiple locations around the city, including one in City Park, which is the same location as our wedding venue. This one (Decatur St.) is the oldest, and most historical of all locations.
New Orleans Original Daiquiris
This is our favorite place to get Daiquiri's in New Orleans! New Orleans Original also has multiple locations around the city and they're all good. Amber's favorite flavor is Mardi Gras Mash and Lawrence's favorite is Soulja Slim.
The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk
Great place for some shopping and walking distance from Cambria Hotel (one of our reserved hotels). The Riverwalk boasts stores such as Nordstrom Rack, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Sunglass Hut, Levi, Polo and much more!
Dat Dog
“Hot Dog Stand” into a New Orleans culinary institution with a devoted following, offering an array of gourmet sausages, all-beef hot dogs, award-winning French fries, premium spirits and a sampling of local craft beers, in a brightly colored, unpolished environment. Lawrence’s favorite: Alligator Sausage. Amber’s favorite: Hot Sausage. Vegetarian options available!!
Port of Call
Port Of Call has been the GEM of the New Orleans French Quarter since the 1960's, and for good reason: They have consistantly been voted THE BEST BURGER IN THE CITY! Aside from the burgers, they are well known for their STRONG drinks! Amber and Lawrence recommend trying the monsoon, but be careful, you might want to share this one.
