Our wedding will be in the Fan District, a historic and beautiful neighborhood we once called home. We encourage you to explore Airbnb options in the Fan, as they will likely be within walking distance (less than one mile) to Meadow Park and Heritage Restaurant. Beyond the Fan, the Museum District and Carytown are slightly further, but similarly beautiful, neighborhoods.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Downtown Richmond for May 20-22, 2023. Please click "View" below to reserve your room and receive our block rate of $179/night, or call the hotel and mention the Lawler-Helms wedding. The deadline to receive the room block rate is April 21. If you plan to arrive on May 21, consider asking for an early check-in. Parking at the Delta is $20 per night, but street parking around the hotel is free on weekends. In addition to the Delta, there are a wide range of other hotel options in Downtown Richmond that we encourage you to explore if you prefer.

Richmond International Airport

Richmond International Airport is the most convenient option for flying into Richmond.

Train

Main Street Station

If you are traveling from the Washington, DC area, Amtrak may be a convenient travel option. Main Street Station is located in Downtown Richmond and is the most convenient station to the ceremony and reception locations. Staples Mill Road Station is further, but sees more daily trains.
