While there is free street parking around Meadow Park and surrounding streets, parking can sometimes be tight. We encourage you to use Uber or Lyft, carpool, or walk if you are staying nearby. There is one small public parking lot located a quarter mile from the park, at 108 N Meadow Street, which may have availability. Heritage Restaurant is just 0.5 miles from Meadow Park, and it is a lovely walk through historic row homes. There is also street parking available around the restaurant.
We ask that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Our ceremony will be outdoors, but our reception will be inside. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please do!
The wedding will be dressy casual to semi-formal. The ceremony will be outdoors in the park, so we recommend flats, block heels, or wedges. You are welcome to walk from the ceremony to the reception, which will have brick and some uneven sidewalks. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!
We are hopeful that May 21 will be a beautiful spring day in Richmond. In the event of rain, we will have a tent in Meadow Park to cover us all.
If your invitation says, "and guest", please bring a guest. Otherwise, since our reception space is intimate, we ask that you not bring a guest.
While we love all of your children, we ask that if at all possible, children be left with a sitter or family member. We understand that this is not feasible for everbody, so we won't turn children away. We do ask in that case that children are watched over closely as there is traffic all around and we want everyone to have a good time.
Meadow Park is fully handicap accessible. Heritage Restaurant is located in a historic building without accessibility in mind. A ramp will be available for entry into the restaurant, but the restroom requires climbing 1-2 stairs.
