How we met: We met on tiktok, who would have thought? Andrew messaged me and I decided to respond to him. We began talking constantly and would call each other on the phone and talk for hours. We got to know each other well and then decided to meet up. I can honestly say from the moment I met him, I knew he was the one. I felt it inside me. I was swept away and in love with who he was and how he made my heart feel. Thinking rationally I told myself to take it slow and try not to scare him away. He said he thought the same thing about me. We started dating after about a month. (Best decision I have ever made). We have been inseparable from the start and i’m so honored to call him my future husband and thankful that we have found each other. The Proposal: 12/11/21 Andrew was so sweet, he took me out to dinner at one of the fanciest places around (Shadows on the Hudson). He told me it was to celebrate me finishing my semester of school and doing so well. As we were in the restaurant, I kept saying how it felt like a hallmark movie and all the christmas lights/decorations looked wonderful. I couldn’t stop smiling and starring at him, thinking how happy I am and how thankful I am to have him. Dinner was so good and I could tell he was nervous but wasn’t sure why. Dessert came out (a pumpkin cheesecake) with a RING on top of it! So many emotions rolling through me at this point, I was so excited, he got down on one knee and asked me to do the honor of being his wife and spending the rest of my life with him. Of course that was a giant YES!! I knew from the start he was the man I wanted to marry. A man who loves God, loves his family and accepts me with all I have to offer. The crew at the restaurant were all behind me in a line and everyone was clapping when I said yes. It felt so perfect and I remember everything like it was just yesterday. I’m not sure what the future will hold, but I am sure that we will conquer this journey together and I am truly thankful for that
