Where do you recommend guests stay during the wedding?

Answer

We've arranged a special rate for our guests at Meliá Barcelona Sarrià, a beautiful hotel conveniently located at Avinguda de Sarrià, 50, 08029, in the heart of the city. The hotel is just about a 10-minute drive from the Basilica de la Puríssima Concepció, where the ceremony will take place. To make your stay more enjoyable, the hotel is offering the following exclusive discounts for our guests: • 20% discount for bookings made 60 days before arrival • 15% discount for bookings made 15 days in advance • 10% discount for those booking on the day of arrival We recommend booking early to secure the best rate. When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Basílica de la Puríssima Concepció at 2:30 PM. Please plan to arrive by 2:15 PM to ensure you're settled before the ceremony begins. Afterward, there will be a bus available to take guests to La Baronia for the reception. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Will the Ceremony and Reception be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at the beautiful Basílica de la Puríssima Concepció. For the reception at La Baronia, the celebration will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces: The aperitif will be outdoors, allowing guests to enjoy stunning views and the sunset over the Barcelona hills in Sant Feliu de Codines, where La Baronia is located. The banquet will take place indoors in a stunning setting filled with art and elegance. The dancing will move outdoors, where you can continue the celebration under the stars, surrounded by nature.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie optional. This means you have the choice to dress in formal attire, but it’s not a strict requirement. For men, this could mean a tuxedo or a dark suit with a dress shirt and tie or bow tie. For women, long evening gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy separates are all lovely options. We kindly ask that women refrain from wearing black.

The ceremony will commence promptly at 2:30 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to get settled and enjoy the start of the celebration. This will ensure we can begin on time and that everyone is ready for the beautiful ceremony ahead!

Answer

Depending on where you’re staying, you can either walk or take an Uber to the Basílica de la Puríssima Concepció for the ceremony. Once the ceremony concludes, transportation will be provided to take you to La Baronia for the reception.

October in Barcelona offers mild and pleasant weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 59°F to 72°F. While it's generally warm, it cools off in the evening, so it's a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater.

We have decided to forgo a registry or honeymoon fund as your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We are so grateful to have you share in this special day with us and look forward to celebrating together!
