Father of the Groom
Phil grew up on farm and managed the livestock and crops well into his prime. His experiences have made him tough as nails but he is really just a teddy bear that wants nothing but the best for his family. Being raised by this wonderful man has made me the laid back and imaginative man I am today. Today he still plants crops on the side and works as a project manger for a local construction company.
Shelley Stewart
Mother of the Groom
Shelley is a supportive, loving and caring mother and grandmother. As the oldest of three she has been nurturing and protecting little ones longer than she can remember. She loves nothing more than spending time with her family and looks forward the the next day or weekend she gets to spend with her grand children. Shelley just wants to make sure her family is safe and loved, even if that does mean texting you 10 times about high tide when you are trying to enjoy a bro’s weekend on the lake.

Mother of the Bride
This woman has been kicking butt and taking names since the day Laurren was born back in '84. She is an amazing woman, mother, wife, nurse, and grandma. We are thick as thieves and I could not imagine my life without her. She made me, me.
Bruce Gonzalez
Step-Father of the Bride
I met the wonderful Bruce when I was eleven years old. He helped love and raise me, in addition to his four kick awesome children from a previous marriage. Being a step parent is difficult and I am incredibly grateful each and every day that he is in my life. He taught me life lessons, respect, and good morals, all with endless love and a smile. He started his career in saving lives in October 1986 working nights until his 2016 retirement due to ailments sustained from his exposure while working FDNY during WTC 9/11. This man has quite a few stories to tell.
Orlando Marcano
Father of the Bride
This fun and charismatic man hails from his namesake of Orlando, Florida where helps run a tight ship at Disney Springs. He’s been working for the mouse for 26 years, and has received Disney’s top honor: The Legacy Award. Always there to make you smile, lend a helping hand, or dance the night away with you in tow, my father aims to please. It’s not surprising where Laurren’s bubbly personality and ability to befriend literally anyone comes from.
Mia Marcano
Step-Mother of the Bride
Fairly new to the family but worth her weight in gold, Mia has been a wonderful addition to my life. She constantly reminds me of how important I am and is currently helping me master the magical ways of makeup. From caring for my father and his late mother (in addition to loving and caring for her own two awesom children and three grandchildren!), this woman wants nothing more to ensure you feel loved and cared for.

We met at Disney once upon a time... (well technically over a weird long distance phone call from Japan) Amy has been vital to the care and love of Laurren. Without her she would have never have learned to drive, adult, or how to write a kick-awesome resume. She also convinced Laurren to move to the mid-west, where she met the tall bearded man.
Ashley Pernice
Maid of Honor
Ashley is an amazing human that helps maintain the proper homeostasis of Laurren. She’s a kick awesome sister and spends her life saving lives as a Paramedic in one of New York's toughest cities. She’s been on the front line as an essential worker and I am so proud of her each and every day. She may be little, but she is fierce.
Scott Theisen
Best Man
Scott has been my best friend since kindergarten, when we decided to be friends because we were both named Scott. During our childhood we did everything together, summer trips up north, spring break trips down south, staying up all night playing video games and spending our entire summer in the pool. Today I have the privilege of working side by side with him, making a living designing and drawing construction plans for natural gas companies in the Midwest.

Josh and I have been friends since 4th grade. In the early years I remember recesses full of football, basketball and four square. We have spent many days and nights on the poker and black jack tables. Today Josh is living the dream with his beautiful family in Royal Oak and providing dedicated service to his customers as a real estate agent.

Making our way through lines of Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney and moving me across state lines to Michigan, this lady has always been a source of love and support. She’s an amazing woman who can handle her own in auto cross and under the hood of a car. She also shares her home with a kick awesome dude and their family of fur babies.

Laurren's main Michigan lady! We met at our old job at a college bookstore and what adventures we had! Now grown and married we offer mutual basic emotional support trying to navigate proper adulthood. Prefect
Tony Schafer
Groomsman
Tony has been an amazing friend since high school. He has always had my back in a scuffle, even if he was the one that usually got us into the mess. Tony tells it like it is and isn’t shy about it. This made him a great addition to the US Army Reserves. He was my first room mate and has been like a brother to many of our friends throughout the years. Today he is back in St. John’s with a beautiful home, an energetic daughter, newborn and amazing wife. He currently makes a living as a Benefits Coordinator.
Kalvin Rewerts

Kalvin is a very close friend who I’ve shared many adventures with. We have strolled the beaches of California, seen amazing shows at Coachella and partied at Vegas. He was always the go to man for getting away from the grind at work. When all of our friends were settling down we continued to explore. Today Kalvin spends his nights in the Intensive Care Unit at Sparrow and his days with his amazing wife and son.
